Is anybody aware of any noteable gaming events...

Occurring this summer between Pennsylvania and Canada? Basically this area

I know this is a weird question, but I cannot articulate how much it would mean if somebody had an answer.

A convention would be nice, but I can work with other things. I'm not sure that there is anything either, but I figured it was worth asking.

Ummm... NY ComiCon? They might have some stuff. There's also another one in Philly too I think, dunno the name but I'm positive there's one in Philly. And PAX East but that's done already so...

I live in mid-west Canada though so I couldn't tell you why I'm replying.

It may be mainly a competition but, you can play 100's of arcade games and pins that aren't being used for the tournament play. Seems like a really cool place. Some info from last year, but gives you an idea of what it is:

There's one in Philly called TooManyGames. It's being held in the middle of June so it might be the best option for you. 
 
It's no PAX or E3, but the Angry Video Game Nerd will be there so it's got something going for it... I guess.
