Apple has finally acquired the rights to have the Beatles on iTunes. I personally have all the Beatles music I want through CDs, and have no need to download it. Thoughts?
Is anyone actually going to buy Beatles music on iTunes?
Buy? Music? As in, for a reason other than supporting the artist (The Beatles don't need any more support)?
Give money to Apple?
Spend money on something that is not a service, but which I cannot physicaly hold?
Hell
Fucking
No.
It is actually a lyric from a paul mcartney song. It was more or less a clue. "Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget." Is true about all tomorrows it's the beauty of the line." Was this seriously their big announcement that would make us "never forget" this day? Pffft. "
OT I will buy some, I lost my copy of the white album 4 years ago, and also wanted to always get help.
I don't hate many kinds of music.
... But I hate the Beatles. A few of their songs are pretty good, but theres so much garbage they made that people seem to love.
You know, I really think that's it: I probably would think they were *okay*, but the reverence people show them gets under my skin. I would never have *liked* the Beatles, but I wouldn't have despised them either.
unfortunately I dont think this is the demographic that is really going to buy the Beatles on iTunes...
I already have (had) my beatles music, so i don't need any more (although, since my external hard drive crashed, i'm gonna have to get Abbey Road back somehow...
I'm a ridiculous Beatles fan, to the point where I feel that anyone who doesn't like The Beatles has only heard their most popular stuff and has missed out on their deeper material. Yes, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds has survived better than A Day In The Life in the public's consciousness (probably thanks to its appearance in Yellow Submarine,) but ADITL is a WAY better song.
I don't even bother with iTunes, really, I'd just buy their huge album collection at Wal-mart or Best Buy or something.
" I don't hate the Beatles, but I think they're overrated. And I don't listen to their music by choice. "Pretty much this =/
Nope. Anyone who cares about Beatles already have some form of media with the Beatles that they're comfortable with.
" "The most authentic man in Rock 'n Roll." "You mean Kid Rock? I just checked, they have Kid Rock on there. I think you meant Kid Rock, I've heard nobody's more authentic than him.
I already have just about all the Beatles' stuff on CD, but I think I might see if they have Day Tripper.

"That would be true If I didn't used to wake up every sunday to Breakfast with The Beatles. It was a show that would air on a talk radio station that I used to fall asleep to. I just really think they are overrated. They play alright music but, then again, I am a huge blues fan so that might have something to do with it.
