I live in Sweden and I wonder if it's a good time to visit Iceland. I mean the Icelandic Krona has lost half its value compared the Swedish Krona in 2 years. However there has also been a lot of inflation so maybe it's not so cheap to be a tourist in Iceland after all?
Can anyone in Iceland or anyone who have visited Iceland recently let me know? Thanks. (may not be the best place to ask, but I don't visit a lot of forums and I figured there has to be some people from Iceland here)
Is it a good time to travel to Iceland?
Perhaps a Yahoo Question might help. You could alert Icelanders in the title.
I don't know of any Icelandic members here...
Doubt there is many people from Iceland on these forums haha, I'm sure a few people have visited though.
Unfortunately I live in western Canada, otherwise I'd shout out of my igloo to them and ask. =p
Also, I suppose you don't care about it because you live in sweden, but Icelands winters aren't that great, and it is getting wintery soon.. Although its been like 30C+ (85/90F ishh..)
Go to greenland.. Just kidding. Its a trap! =P Damn greenland and iceland.. name trap =P They are opposites! Bastards!
I have a coupon with big rebates to certain hotels in Europe. I can choose from Glasgow, Scotland; Tallin, Estonia and Reykavik, Iceland.
Estonia and Iceland are 4 star hotels while Glasgow is a 3 star hotel. The price is similar on all.
Not sure where to go. I'll be traveling in November.
