I've just got banned for the first time!

Am I banned forever or I'm not banned after a few weeks.

@Baillie: From this site, my friend just edit a wiki coppied from another site. I've been warned yesterday because I also coppied from another wiki site and now I'm banned. Can I still edit wiki tomorrow or next week or just banned!

I think the rules say you're perma-banned. You should probably PM a mod instead of talking about this in the forum.

you're basically asking for it. if you're copying stuff, get warned and do it again you have no business editing any wikis ...

Just contact a mod, apologize and say you won't do it again.

You were warned to stop, you did it anyway, you deserve what you got. Besides, copying from another wiki? Plagiarism ring any bells to you?

So he's banned from editing the wiki and not from using the site as a member, right? I think I'm freaking out right now because I swear he started this thread O_O

Yeah. The Mods here tend to do that whenever you have an opinion the thread you are on doesn't share no matter how well you explain yourself. Just post bland opinion-less statements and your time on Giantbomb should be fine.

This has nothing to do with the thread but it's still true.

There's no need to post openly about moderator actions like this. Just fire off a PM to one of us in the future; in your case, Marino would be best to talk to regarding your wiki situation.
