I don't know how to comment on this. Jamie Foxx is a decent actor. I want to see how they plan on pulling this off. What do you guys think?

I'm more surprised that Bruce Willis agreed to be in this thing. I kinda wish Boll was directing this now. 

They're both good actors imo, Just horrible that they agree to do such a movie...

Goddamn it, now Jeff will have to fire Ryan for reviewing this on TANG. 
 
Actually, the story might work better in a movie form - given how it's a bad rip off of Heat anyway.

It could be good, there was nothing ever wrong about Kane & Lynch in concept, just execution.

Argh I don't like it when they change the original race of a character. I guess they aren't trying to stick that close to the games though.

it'll probably be a lousy movie, but i think the kane & lynch premise actually suits a movie better than it does a video game. the fact that they've got some reasonably talented a-listers on board gives this a glimmer of promise. but on the other hand, both actors' recent work does a pretty good job of dashing that right away.

I was thinking that maybe they would use make up to change Jamie Foxx's color, you know, make him look more like Lynch. He probably has the voice to play the character. Kind of like the character Robert Downey Jr played in Tropic Thunder (horrible example).

TANG with many a Die Hard reference

I always thought a Kane & Lynch movie could work, this is the director's first film but he's been the second unit on films with good action. 
 
Jamie Foxx? He's a black man. Also shouldn't Willis be playing Lynch?

Kane and Lynch is the reason Giant Bomb exists, we have to cut it some slack :P

They won't.  They NEVER do that except for in dumb comedies like Tropic Thunder and White Chicks.  Did they make Ludacris white in Max Payne?  No. Did they make Michael Clarke Duncan white in Daredevil? No.  What fantasy universe do you live in where you think Jamie Foxx is going to walk around in white make up? "

Agreed. I watched 16 Blocks a few days ago and he was actually pretty dang good in it. Of course he was terrific in Pulp Fiction too. "

Bruce Willis signed on because he said the script is badass.  I'm going to trust him.

I'm not a big Jamie Foxx fan, aside from Ray and Law Abiding Citizen I've never seen him play a good role. Bruce Willis I have faith in, but Jamie Foxx...not so much.

1. It's a terrible idea to base a movie off a game. 2. it's terrible to base a movie off a mediocre game.
