Jeff was right about the penny

Those damn pennies.

We haven't had 1 cent coins in Australia since...the late 80s I believe.

And as you all must know by now, Australia is the best place on earth, and I'm pretty sure this is a good part of why (the other is all the snake venom we season our kangaroo steak with)

@CL60: Fair enough, I have been using the credit card EMV (PayPass or payWave) for small purchases. But I make sure I pay my credit card bills on time so I don't mind using my cards for small purchases like that and the convenience of not having to carry cash (especially change, I hate that stuff) is priceless.
