Hey, duders. I've reached an important crossroad in my life, and need some guidance.

I fell into a week long depression after coming to the sudden realization that I'm going to die alone, and emerged with a hefty amount of facial hair. So yesterday, when I decided to get rid of the sadness beard, I had the sudden urge to see how creepy I would look with a mustache. At first, the answer was extraordinarily creepy. Then it started to grow on me, literally and figuratively. I took a picture, posted it to Facebook, and got some positive reception. Now I'm thinking of keeping it.

I've got half an hour before I have to go to work. Half an hour before my coworkers see me, and I become mustache guy forever. Is this something that I want? Are mustaches without beards always creepy, or is it possible to pull off?

Who gives a damn what other people say, if you like it go for it. The moustache is an underrated type of facial hair.

Does not suit you at the moment imo. I think it will look better when you get older though.

You can do whatever you want man, Im not gonna slam you if you want to keep it.

But if I had a mustache like that, I'd shave it.

That looks like a pube stache. Shave it off unless you want to look like a fifteen‐year‐old and don't grow another until you actually can.

You're doing it wrong. What you want to do is grow a full beard and then trim it down to various styles of mustache. Starting out mustache only is kinda rough.

Overthinking things, you're doing it right. Look, nobody really cares about one's facial hair and no one should, as long it lookes somewhat groomed and hygienic. It comes down to whether or not facial hair suits you and if you feel comfortable with it.

Harsh* but true. - Whoops, I meant to quote the 'pube stache' comment but yeah this works too, although not harsh :D

It also takes longer than a week to grow a proper moustache/beard, give it a month - 6 weeks and see what you look like then. If it looks the same then...just wait a few years :P

Yeah, you need a lot of density to make a moustache look non-slimey.

Shave it. To do stuff like that you need to go full beard and trim down - growing it from nothing guarantees creepy mode for a few months.

When No Shave November ends, I'll be shaving off my mustache because it itches!

I'd say the chest hairs are more of a concern than the mustache.
