Dogfish Head beer. Specifically Raison d être and Palo Santo Marron.

Also: whiskey and tequila

I'm actually not a fan of alcohol. That is all.

Russell Brewing Company's Wee Angry Scotch Ale.

I will really drink any kind of beer, but I find a bottle of Dos Equis Lager Especial to be quite refreshing with a lime wedge. I have recently taken a liking to whiskey to for some reason, but bourbon is my favorite. A nice glass of Maker's Mark on the rocks is pretty fantastic if yo have the taste and the cash for it.

For beers I absolutely love a strong, dark ale. Like a Dark Island Reserve. Lovely.

For spirits I've always drank a Gin and Cranberry juice which I randomly ordered in my first year of Uni. With a cranberry juice from actual fruit, not concentrate, then poured over ice it's rather divine.

Gin or Whiskey / Scotch, both neat (it's a tie; I switch between them pretty regularly; making mixed drinks of them is blasphemy, beyond the very occasional G&T). Not a fan of beer / wine, though, unless it's very good beer / wine.

But yeah, Jameson Whiskey (Redbreast if I want a treat), or Broker's Gin; those are my go-to drinks of choice.

For beer I love an ice cold Stella Artois or a Blue Moon

And I am also a big fan of Zyr brand Vodka

#14 Posted by Darkstorn (479 posts) -

Living in Oregon exposed me to a lot of good Pacific Northwest microbrews.

I'm in Northern California now and really enjoy Mendocino Brewing Co., Fat Tire (from Colorado), Pyramid (from the Bay Area), and Guinness. Dark, hoppy IPAs are my go-to beer for the most part.

#15 Posted by Bismarck (450 posts) -

Guinness and Pilsner Urquell for beers

Captain Morgan, whiskey all around are my favorite

I could probably drink anything, but my least faborite is vodka. Don't like it one bit. In a Bloody Mary it's ok or with some other alcohol .

#16 Posted by UncleClassy (405 posts) -
@Trilogy That's probably my favorite party beer. It's light enough that you can drink 6+ and do just fine, but still pretty flavorful.

Overall, of the beer I've had I would say Boston Lager or Yuengling black and tan.
#17 Posted by pyromagnestir (4384 posts) -

My favorite alcoholic drink is one where I can't taste the alcohol. But since most people seem to frown upon that, I just don't drink alcohol very often. Which I'm fine with, really.

#18 Posted by AdebisiStyle (20 posts) -

Shiner Bock. Also, other Shiner variants like their hefeweisen or Ruby Redbird

#19 Posted by Venatio (4654 posts) -

White wine is a favorite of mine

#20 Posted by tarvis (74 posts) -

Favorite beer: Craftsman Heavenly Hefe from a local Pasadena brewer. Strong aroma of bananas. If I buy beer and I'm not trying something new, I'm often partial to: seasonal Dogfish Head, Lindemans Lambic Framboise, Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout or Young's Double Chocolate Stout. If I'm back in PA, always Yuengling.

#21 Posted by sins_of_mosin (1713 posts) -

Right now I like Canadian stuff like Moosehead, Labatt, Molson.

#22 Posted by Donkeycow (568 posts) -

I've never been a big beer drinker but when i do its typically Stella. I much prefer my rum and scotch.

#23 Posted by flashx_454 (59 posts) -

@AdebisiStyle: yes shiner is good I tried their wild hare pale ale recently and was surprised at how good it was

#24 Posted by Sanity (2056 posts) -

Glad you could share that with us.

Left Hand Brewery's Milk Stout is my current favorite, although I've personally made some beers I liked more, but I'm biased.

Any beer from TallGrass Brewery is amazing. Its in Manhattan, KS and they make just great ales. Tad expensive but a nice treat. Other wise its either PBR or Natty.

A shot of whiskey always hits the spot though.

#28 Posted by Sanj (2687 posts) -

I like pint of ice cold Strongbow.

#29 Posted by JaredA (842 posts) -

I don't really like beer a whole lot, but if I had to choose I would probably pick a pretty watered down type, like Bud Light or something. DON'T JUDGE.

Lately I have been enjoying these Lemon Drops I have been making. mmm...

#30 Posted by Dad_Is_A_Zombie (1244 posts) -

Bacardi and Coke.

#31 Posted by BaneFireLord (3085 posts) -

I really don't like the taste of alcohol very much, with the exception of champagne.

#32 Edited by mbr2 (590 posts) -

Favorite ale: Robinson's Old Tom Original

Favorite stout: St. Peter's Cream Stout

EDIT: Also, fuck pale lager/pilsner and wheat beers.

#33 Posted by familyphotoshoot (703 posts) -

Old Rasputin is my current favorite beer. I'm usually a whiskey kind of guy, but this stuff is pretty good.

#34 Posted by Djnuttty (143 posts) -

Captain Morgan's Rum, A decent cider or if I'm drinking beer than probably guinness or something.

#35 Posted by Zella (969 posts) -

I like Bud Light just as a casual drink, I'll also really enjoy a Kokanee or Molson. For something that stronger than water I usually go for Heineken. For liquor I usually tend towards rye, Crown Royal cause it's relatively cheap most often, either have it straight with ice or with coke.

#36 Posted by ShaggE (7151 posts) -

Yuengling and Sam Adams for beer, Jack/rum & Coke for mixed (although I recently discovered the Tom Collins, which I now love), and whiskey for spirits.

Runners-up: Blue Moon, White Russians, and vodka.

#37 Posted by nerdsbeware (255 posts) -

Snakebites are the shittttttttttttt. Strongbow & Yuengling is my usual combo. Other than that, PBR, Rolling Rock. You know, cheap garbage.

I don't drink so i don't have a favorite. In my youth i did slam back some Jack and other alcohol and enjoyed the Jack but alcohol just isn't something i enjoy.

I'm the only person in the history of the internet/real life to ever say this. It should be noted

Rakia and red wine (any). You get me enough of those two beverages, and I'll knock up Rosie O'Donnell...is she still relevant by the way or? And I just found out she was a lesbian, huh, you learn something new everyday.

#47 Posted by nintendoeats (6138 posts) -

Cider. I prefer Gaymer, but the best thing I can get locally is Strongbow.

I'm a fan of George Killian's, I find it really easy to drink compared to everything else I've tried.
