I'm a bit of a Lego nut and WALL-E is by far my favorite Pixar movie, so when Lego announced a Wall-E set a while back, I was over the moon. Getting him and assembling him was a blast, but I wasn't prepared for how unbearably cute he is... just sitting on my desk... looking at me. So I decided to put him in some poses around my house and, amazingly, almost all of them made me laugh. Thought I'd share some of them with you all.

EDIT: Thanks to CornBREDX for pointing out the table functions which lets me lay this out better. I also added some more pics once I got it formatted.

Also, if you have your own WALL-E pics and would like to post them, feel free to do so in the comments section. If you don't have a Lego WALL-E, the Lego store currently sells them.

This is amazing! Its crazy how much emotion you've been able to get. I think the watching TV one is the best. Was it a fun kit to put together?

This is so awesome! I need one. I need one now!

Can you make the eyes flatter, though?

Yeah that Wall-E set is absolutely amazing. Been very tempted to pick it up a number of times but my Lego collection is starting to get out of control.

Plus my son, whom I use as an excuse to justify it, is starting to get pretty spoiled.

To fix that problem you have there with the pictures being all over the place you can use a table- just so you know.

Those are great pictures, but... you realize it looks like Wall-E is humping R2D2, right? =P

I know, right?! That's partially the reason why I started this; he seems so animate for a bunch of plastic bricks. Yeah, it was a nice easy one to do. I'm used to the monstrous Star Wars sculpture style ships that take 6+ hours to do, whereas I think I could have watched the Wall-E movie while doing this one.

They're available on Lego's store for 60 bucks. The eyes can be made flatter (the assemblies can go from perfectly flat to about 30 degrees each), but I like them droopy so he doesn't look like his fresh out of the box factory self from the end of the movie (a scene that still makes me tear up).

I kind of like the all over the place nature of it, honestly. He is on my table in the Rubik's cube pic though.

EDIT: I'm stupid, you meant a table for formatting... no I didn't know that. I'll get on that in a minute here...

And only if you choose to let your mind go that way. He's overwhelmed at meeting a hero (both voiced by Ben Burtt, for your trivia night games). Forgive the little guy, he was excited. ;)

@snail: Hehe, glad I could help. Yeah, the TV one seems to be the favorite and I'm really pleased with the lighting effect. To give y'all some behind the scenes on that, he's on my couch, but the light shining on him is actually just my tablet with the brightness cranked up all the way. Turns out it's hard to get that kind of effect from an actual TV anymore.

Been a while, but thought I'd post some more of these. He still makes me chuckle now and again. The last three are something of a rudimentary comic strip (please don't take it too seriously, he is a LEGO Disney robot after all).

I'll say this, he's got quite the poker face...

You really should see it. It's really amazing movie making. Also, Wall-E is probably the cutest robot in modern cinema, though BB-8 is giving him a run for his money. And thanks, it's always fun to pose inanimate objects and make them take on a life of their own.

Build him. It takes a couple of hours, but he will warm the cockles of your heart forever afterward once you do. Worth the time investment.
