For me, I once had a day off so I played for nearly 6 hours straight.
Longest gaming you've done in one sitting
I think I tore through Uncharted 2 in one sitting. Took me around twelve hours with time out for bathroom breaks and food. Felt like shit after - so I'm pretty sure I'll never do that again.
WoW, the first weekend I had it. About 8 hours with a few short breaks. I'm not even a MMO guy an haven't played that game in a while but it hooked me pretty good that first weekend.
For me it's Project Gotham Racing 3 on Xbox360, I made a online multiplayer lobby @ like 6:00am to 8:00pm lol I love that game to death!
Once in a while I catch myself 10+ hours into EVE online on the weekend, the longest ever was closer to fourteen hours during an insane POS seige
Put over 10 hours into Borderlands last night... I think that before that would be when I was big time into Ultima Online, it wouldn't be a thing spend over 12 hours logged into that thing at a time.
Anymore once I hit the 4 hour mark I start to feel like I am forgetting to do something IRL, like school or something...
Probably 12-13 hours. Once with Phantasy Start Online: Episode 1 & 2 on the Gamecube, and another time with Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Yeah, 12-13 hours of a DBZ game. I didn't see myself doing that either.
60 hours on WoW. I had hurt my ankle and couldn't move around a lot and needed to stay off of it as much as possible. So I woke up one morning and decided to roll a new character on WoW. I then decided to see how high I could get him in 24 hours. I wasn't feeling tired or bored when I hit that mark so I came up with a new challenge: how long can I physically stand to play a video game before passing out? Once I got to close to 40 hours I became determined to make it all the way to 48. And once you have gone that far you might as well keep going. Hours 57-60 were fucking terrible, but I really wanted to end my retarded marathon on a nice round number like 60. Once I hit my mark I logged out and got the best sleep of my life.
At no point should anyone ever do what I did. It was a terrible idea and I sure as fuck am never going to even attempt to do anything like it again.
Several years ago I came from work on a Friday and locked myself in my room with the first Half-life and the 1st expansion pack. I started HL from the begging then played through the expansion. I came put of my room the next day with bloodshot eyes and the shakes from hunger because I hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours. My roommate had to make my lunch because I was out of it.
I played Mass Effect 2 for 10-12 hours each day for four days straight. I even slept on the couch so I could wake right back up and play, and I only got up to pee, didn't eat. It was fun.
I remember, vaguely, playing Diablo 2LOD for about 40-50 hours when I was younger. It was mostly grinding out two characters to 99 (one from about 30 and another from the beginning) with friends, but the first 20 or so hours were fun as shit, but when that second character came rolling around to about the 50's, I wanted to cry. But, I really felt like having those two hardcores within 2 or 3 days at max level, doing bowazon baal runs and wwbarb runs was worth it. Then that wwbarb died the very next day when my monitor popped off for a second. My most memorable death.
Never again. Jesus Christ, I slept for about 20 hours the next day. A nightmare existence I tell you. Even if you're a junior high kid with no summer assignment like I was, never ever do that.
I've only had marathon sessions of multiplayer games. The longest single-sittings have to be the original Starcraft, which I played for an entire St.Patrick's Day. Second, Counter-Strike, which I played all day on Christmas Eve, clear up until 7 a.m. Christmas morning. My parents were pissed.
22 hours* playing Tales of Abyss during summer break when I was still in high school. Had to return it the next morning (rented) and I had told myself I was close to finishing it. I wasn't as close as I had thought. Finished it at about 11:00am. So worth it.
*bathroom breaks and short food breaks of course. I'm not insane.
8 hours with the new Mortal Kombat. I wanted to see every Babality possible, but since i only knew the Liu Kang Babality, i played with him against every character. And, just for fun, my cousin played with every other character. Since it's harder to win in Versus Mode, we played for about 8 hours and now i will never play with Liu Kang again.
15 straight hours for Mass Effect back when I was in college. First and last time I ever play a game for that long.

This is exactly what I did. Even though the game was great, I regret doing it.
A long time ago when i was playing Final Fantasy X i got stuck at the Seymore fight at Macalania and decided to try a gameshark to get past it. I ruined my save file and i played that game from the beginning until i got past that fight, i dont remember exactly how long that took though (probably 20ish hours)
I used to be able to game for huge amounts of time when i was younger, i remember one night playing Exile III the whole night, and my mom comming down at 7:00 in the morning and asking if i had slept. but now i can only play games for about an hour before i grow board, same with movies, and tv shows. i have less attention span now ( 25 ) then when i was 10
I don't know exactly how many hours, but when I was in middle school I used to play Halo 2 matchmaking from the time I got home from school until around 9 or 10 to give myself about an hour or two to do homework. I also used to play most weekends. I had just moved and I really didn't have many friends at the time so I had a lot of time to spare.
I took a 30mg XR addy and played Call of Duty from midnight till 8pm only getting up for bathroom and water. Felt like it lasted about 20 minutes. xD
Around 12 hours. Dragon Age II came out right around spring break, and being sick of doing work, I decided that I was going to sit down and just play it for a really long time. The only reason that I stopped was when I noticed that I'd apparently popped a blood vessel in my eye. I figured that that was a good a sign as any that I might want to quit for the day.
