 1. Go to Wikipedia and hit "Random article." The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2. Go to quotationspage.com and hit "Random Quotes." The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your firs t album.

3. Go to Flickr and click on “Explore..." then click "Interesting photos... from the last 7 days.” The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4. Use Photoshop or something similar  to put it all together .

May I present The Princeton Charter Club and their first album "Ask Those Coming Back"

@EndlessObsidian: On Flickr how can I get the pics? It says they're Copyrited and I can't save it.

I enjoyed that. Great idea

I did this earlier today, and mine turned out quite similar to the OPs:

I saw this in Alex's blog a couple of years ago... good fun.

I'm no graphic designer, Paint is the fucking worst for graphics, and the article/quote I got was fucking terrible. That's my excuses out of the way.... cover was pretty cool though.

Is it bad that this seems like a totally legit method of picking a band and album name?

I would point out that most of these are really quite terrible.

@buzz_clik: Plus Infant Industry is a totally legit band name.

@Resident4t: That one works as well. No need for light if sound's faster?

@XII_Sniper: Zaaackly, s'what I'm sayin'.

Here's my next one. The underlying monkey pic is untouched by me - all I did was overlay the graphic elements and text. The original pic had such a Vaughan Oliver look to it, I had to go for it.

@100_Hertz: I'm glad someone noticed it! Of course when (no, not if) the guys start up their own label, I've got their logo ready to roll.

I did a stupid number of these about two years ago. I took a couple of liberties with the quotes in a couple of cases.
