Any community members that are married, I thought it would be curious to see where you all went on your honeymoons. Lately I have been seeing a lot of variety from friends I know, etc.
Personally I went to Riviera Maya, Mexico and loved it.

My wife and I road tripped from Georgia through the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, up through Pennsylvania to Vermont. After Vermont, drove up to Maine, then back through NY and and PA, once more to VA and back home to GA.
Best trip I've ever been on.
@SSully: I can't remember exactly. I think it was over the coarse of eleven days. A lot of driving. You have to REALLY love road trips. That being said, the New England area in October is amazing. Especially accompanied by all the awesome maple syrups and local cheeses of VT.
Went to europe for a month, First went to London 4 days (i'm originally from there), then Nice France, Instanbul Turkey, Florence Italy then Barcelona Spain. Edit: Forgot about Buadapest Hungry.

@TooWalrus: What did he do to get fired?
He's in his 40s and he's completely unmotivated to work hard as a pizza delivery boy. He's been with us for almost 2 years, and he's got a habit of doing next to nothing. He's been caught pretending to take orders on the phone so he doesn't have to do dishes, he's super-sloppy in everything he does (like he refuses to dry the floor after he mops it, he just leaves it drenched so that our footprints make it look worse than it did before), and we were pretty much just looking for a reason to get rid of him. One of the drivers drove by his girlfriends house on the way to a delivery, and saw Mario (we call him Mario because he's got a big bushy mustache) sitting on the porch drinking. This was during the dinner rush on Friday (which was actually the busiest day of the year so far). Chilling with your fiance during the rush so you don't have to work is NOT cool, and was the final straw- he got into a shouting match with Big Boss (I guess there's a lot of video-game related nicknames at my store) and was fired.
Got married last Oct and we went to St. Lucia. Stayed at an all inclusive and it was fantastic. I'd recommend that trip to anyone.
The question obviously being, why the hell would you want to get married? You know you'll cheat on her at some point, and she'll probably find out, which means she'll take half of your worldly possessions. Even if you don't, half of marriages end in divorce which means you still lose half of everything you own.
When the fuck did i become such a cynic?
My wife and I went to Prince Edward Island on Canada's east coast and spent a week on the beach there. We were poor university students at the time and PEI was only a few hours drive away. It's almost time for a second honeymoon soon and we would really like to go to Sandals resort in Jamaica.
I want to bring my future wife to the whiskey offices and fuck her on the table in the podcast room. In full view.
Went to Hawaii. Honolulu & Maui. (and technically Denver Airport which I found to be a very nice Airport indeed). Very nice but If im ever forced to spend that much time on a crappy little plane like that again I will shoot myself.

But would you let the team take turns to fuck your wife though?
I don't see why not. Except for Klepeck. He can sit in the corner and crank it if he wants.

Vermont syrup is AWESOME! Why is it so good?!
NYC, last October. Saw the opening of Pee Wee's Broadway show, Underworld live, museums, Dave Letterman taping, etc. Ruled.
Vegas, baby! (It was my wife's idea, even!) Great place to go if (1) you can't afford an international trip, (2) you only have a few days vacation available for a honeymoon, and (3) you're the sort of person who would rather do stuff than sit around and relax.
@Fizzy: Holy moly, dude. I'm a pretty casual fan (wife is a major one), but it was transcendent. Just unreal.
We are heading back to Riviera Maya for our second anniversary. Hopefully checking out Cozumel and doing a lot more snorkeling this time!
Venice. For our 1 year anniversary this year we went to Japan (Osaka to Tokyo). For our 2 year we already have an idea of a trip to Cairo, but we have to see the political situation there. If not Cairo then probably Vegas. Might as well travel now in the prime of our lives seeing as when we have a family it won't be possible and when we get old it'll just be for sightseeing. Because eventually it will all be about work and family. Family and work. Nothing else. And given our professions the hours are going to be unforgiving.
As a side note though Japan is a fucking beautiful country. I definitely want to go back and in particular to Hokkaido. So if people haven't gone try to give it a shot at least once.

Hey, look at it this way. Even if you don't get to go to Cairo for your anniversary, Las Vegas still has a lot of Egypt.

We went on a Disney Cruise.
Four days in the parks three days on the sea.
It was amazing.
The Disney cruises sounds so awesome. My stepsister considered that for her honeymoon. She and her husband decided on Hawaii. They got divorced afterwards. Shoulda gone with Disney, I guess. Before anybody gets too upset about my joke there, they make light of it themselves, and have been remarried for a few years now.
@elsuperdonut: I've always been curious what that place is like after driving by it countless times on Lake Shore Drive.
My fiance and I are in the process of planning are wedding currently. We haven't even started thinking about honey moons. Although, it sounds like there are some solid ideas in this topic.
