Chik-fil-a and Bojangles are both superior, but in our area the McDonalds has a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich that's beats the hell out of that grade school cafeteria quality excuse for a sandwich you call "McChicken".

I can't argue with your value proposition if it involves me being broke. The value menu at Taco Bell has been my friend during many a rough patch. You can get like five pounds of food for five bucks.
Have you ever had the round processed and breaded chicken patty served at most American public school cafeterias? If so, then you have basically had one. I personally used to love them, but that doesn't make them good.
