Monthly: July Wallpaper Thread

Sup Duders. Another month is upon us.

I know there are a lot of wallpaper topics, but i think a monthly "what do you have up" is not a bad idea, especially since on previous threads a lot of people stated that they shuffle between 50-500 backgrounds. i also like getting new ideas for wallpapers.

if mods find this annoying, feel free to lock.

Anyway, this is what i have up right now.

I love this one, and this quote is one of my favorites (especially comes in handy when people say "video games are a bad influence, when i was little.....") and one of the main reasons why this is one of my wallpapers. Also, Pacman is awesome xD.

This is what i have up right now, and i shuffle through 30-40 pictures.

What wallpaper do you have up right now, and why do you like yours?

This is the one I'm using right now. No special reason really....except Rainbow Dash is best pony.

@ManU_Fan10ne: Fairly sure that quote came from a comedian called 'Marcus Bridgestock', and I remember hearing it in a set he did on the BBC. Also if you google the quote his name comes up.

interesting. it doesnt seem like something a nintendo CEO would say, but i never bothered to look it up. also, i always thought it was weird that they never named the CEO, now i know why. I could care less who said it, it's still awesome, but at least now i wont embarrass myself and say that some dude from nintendo said it.

I'm going with this for the summer.

Master chief? If you meant left pretty sure it's the girl from bulletstorm.

I meant the right from Samus' point of view. And I haven't played Bulletstorm so that's probably why I didn't recognize her.

I just changed mine yesterday, nice timing.
 

Yay! I get to steal more wallpapers! Also, I'll contribute, give me a minute to pick some out from this rotation.

EDIT: OK, I uploaded more than this and it messed up...

I couldn't get a good capture of the Bentenmaru logo but this is just as good.

My computer switches between about 5 wallpapers (Duke Nukem, Fallout: NV, Fallout 3, ACIII, and a hot chick)

I have been reading The Hitchhiker's Guide once again.

Few other options fitting the theme:

I've been using the top one for quite some time now and then switched to the SuperBrothers wallpaper and recently I've switched back to the eerie snow landscape from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

After getting rid of all my desktop icons, I needed a new wallpaper. So I whipped this up using @Fobwashed 's awesome pixel art of the GB crew (hope he doesn't mind)

The arrows don't look pixel-y enough but I'll try and get that fixed some time.

I love this game and couldn't help taking a load of screen shots. My desktop is usually a screen shot from a Steam game, just because a cool picture is only a '#' press away.
