What is the point of this topic?
The point of this topic is not solely to simply post "What you are listening to", but however, discuss things that are relevant to music, and the music scene. Talk about your favorite bands, music videos, and everything under that category. The idea is to have a good discussion about music, while you can also post what you are listeningto, but that should not be the main point of your post.Why can't I just post what I'm listening to?
Simply posting what you are listening to isn't actually discussion, and can be simplified as "+1" to your post count. Don't lie, you aren't always listening to what you post, I have done it as well. There really isn't any discussion in what you are talking about.
How should I go about making a post?
You should make a post about whatever you think would be good discussing about music (news, videos, etc), and if you want, again, you can post what you are listening to.Example: "Does anybody else think Radiohead never makes a bad song? I think they are simply awesome. Oh, and, I'm listening to "Videotape" by Thom Yorke, simply a beautiful song. What a message it has attached to it."
There is an example, and you can actually make a discussion about what you are listening to!
Time for the first and most obvious question: Who is your favorite artist or band?
