Rock can also be beautiful, triumphant, imaginative and stylistic.  You just need to listen to the right kind of rock.

I think you need to open your mind up a little bit there bro. Try listening to a Nick Drake cd and telling me that it isnt beautiful, the same goes for many other genres. It's great that you know what music you like, just dont go saying rock is'nt capable of beauty or style.

Rock is capable of beauty and style why wouldn`t it be, I don`t see anything wrong in saying that, it`s not like he is saying other genre's arn`t.
I personally love old school metal the most, Sodom,Kreator,Judas Priest,ect.
My favorite's are Buckethead and Megadeth though, hence my username Bucketdeth.

The first song almost brought a tear to my eye,the last song was just kick ass!My favorite bands right now are Breaking Benjamin and Blink 182,as they continue to motivate me.

Besides that's just a cover of Metallica's "Nothign Else Matters" so they didn't compose anything, they just made the notes on orchestral instruments. You can do that with any song. You can make Slayer sound beautiful.
