Driving. Act like the speed limits are 5 mph lower then they actually are. Just in case. You don't want to go to slow though. Make sure to stop before the white lines at stop signs. I have a friend who failed because he passed one of those. Um...if you see any yellow lights at all STOP! Don't even take the chance.
If the instructor tells you to do something, MAKE SURE IT ISN'T AGAINST WHAT THE ROAD SIGNS SAY. Seriously, if your instructor is a dick, he/she will pull this move on you. For example, if the instructor says to make a U-turn and there's a sign that says "No U-Turns", don't make the turn. Sounds obvious but just make sure you listen to the signs before the instructor. Oh yeah, and look both ways when crossing ANY intersection. That includes stop signs, green lights, or just an intersection. Always, always, always look both ways.
P.S. Try and go early in the morning if you can, before they get all stressed out after a day of working at the DMV. The happier they are, the better your chances.
When switching lanes be sure to turn your head all the way back to check blind spots. And no... not like an owl. But I think you understand that you should put emphasis on the importance of blind spots.

I'm gonna guess you probably shouldn't crash or run over anyone. Also if a "STOP" sign is spray-painted to read as something else, it is still in fact a Stop sign.
Just to be sure: What country are you living in? I wouldnt wanna stay inside if it turns out you live on the other side of the globe.... On the other hand.. Dont tell me. Legitimate reason to stay inside and play videogames! :D

Well the only advice I can give you is to stay calm, the female instructor thing probably won't work as she will probably be old and ugly and married. Just make sure you pay attention to everything you are doing, don't get distracted.
@Player1: what he said. i took mine in the winter so it was a lot easier. stop at everything don't speed, make sure to come to a complete stop, don't screw up. good luck with it.

Forgive me, I am somewhat unfamiliar with how things are done over there in America. Still, at very least I think the TC could've won a driving instructor.
Meh, don't stress. I ran a stop sign during my driving test, but the instructor was too busy talking politics with my grandfather in the back seat to notice.
When I took the test, I ran over an Armadillo. The instructor didn't deduct points though; actually he said he would've deducted points if I tried to stop or avoid them. He said he couldn't tell me how many times he's had to fail a kid because the kid went out of his lane to avoid an animal.
