Any platform, the more obscure the better. Also, don't say something like Psychonauts, everyone has been told they should play that by now.
I'll go with Microcosm. It might have been known at its time, but I don't think anyone has heard of it nowadays. Had it for the Sega CD, and the instruction book included a several chapter backstory... An unintentionally hilarious read.
Name a game nobody has played but should.
oh? a game I played? Caveman Games. that game deserves more praise than it has. greatest NES game ever.
" Tomba! "Tomba is the shit... this is why I follow you on this site.
" Beneath a Steel Sky ;) "I'm still waiting for the remastered to be released on something besides the iPhone.
The original still holds up really well though, and it's free to play these days, so none of you have an excuse!
Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist! A ton of people played the King's Quest, Space Quest and Leisure Suit Larry games, but it's rare that I find anyone that played that one. Freddy Pharkas was created by Al Lowe (creator of Leisure Suit Larry) and a fellow named Josh Mandel who has a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor. It's way more hilarious than the Leisure Suit Larry games (actually, the third LSL game was the only one that I actually found funny) and it's damn shame that I never got a sequel. Best western game EVER!
" Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders...or at least I've never met anyone else who's played it. "
While its true I have never played it I did play the sequel Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes, I really enjoyed this style of console Real-time strategy and was saddened when the next KOH game was an action-rpg, though I did enjoy what I played of it, since KOH: Heroes/Crusaders isnt backwards compatible as far as im aware. Though I can play it on my original Xbox still I would be more inclined to play it again if I could play it using current systems.
Side note: I find it a little odd that I find it easier to bring myself to play a Sega Saturn game than an original Xbox game, its an odd perception problem.

Also fingers crossed that Kingdom Under Fire 2 isn't canceled!
I feel like not enough people have played this game yet.
" Beyond Good and Evil. I feel like not enough people have played this game yet. "That's what I was gonna say.

Alex Navarro is a fucking legend." @RJay_64: hahahahahahaha!
For those of you who don't know this game:
"
I'm not talking xbox360 owners. However no one else like ps3 and pc has played episodes from liberty city and they should. It's unfortunet because they were good games.
" I really do wish there was another game out there like Earth Defense Force, but sadly, no. I really do love Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 though. Even with its problems, I've spent nearly (if not over) 200 hours on that game. "Im with you on Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, I would never say that "Warriors" is a franchise made of good games but for some reason I find them fun. I own two on the PS2, though truthfully havent played a lot of them, but Ive put too many hours in Gundam 2.
They are both well loved games but I feel a lot of people here might not have played them/know them.
