Feel free to be more elaborate than me in your answers
Canada:
Love - Free health care
Hate - Almost every video site locks out Canada, for example I can't watch Twin Peaks on fancast :(
Name one thing you love and hate about your country
there is a thread like this but its about your town.
country is tough.
America
1 thing i love is well.... mostly everything, its fucking huge and very diverse.
1 thing i hate.... big government
Netherlands:
Love - Liberal towards aspects I consider important, social to a few other aspects.
Hate - How left wing media/politicians are ruining our country, getting right winged politicians killed by putting them in a bad spotlight because they "discriminate" yet lefties want to do nothing but tax rich people (discrimination against income is discrimination!). And this will only get worse as it seems that a left wing party will be the largest one in the upcoming elections. Time to migrate the fuck out of this cesspool, I'll miss the liberal attitude though :-(
USA
Love: The principles this country was built upon, the opportunity for a better life (which my family has achieved), and the First Amendment.
Hate: The divided society (which is especially ironic for the USA), the gov't (somewhat), the First Amendment (think trolls shouldn't be allowed to talk), and Republicans.
YEP I'm a mothafucking tree-huggin' Democrat, so suck it Reds!
USA
Love: the constitution, and the freedoms given to defend it
hate: politicians who try to take those rights and freedoms away, and the people who feel that they are entitled to everything and do nothing to earn it.
Venezuela:
Love: The land is pretty beautiful.
Hate: Politics, everywhere, all the fucking time.
USA
Love: The fact that I live in a safe place where I have ready access to just about anything and the ability to do just about anything I like.
Hate: The vapid, shallow, ignorant social norms. The Jersey Shore and most of MTVs programming is unfortunately a pretty accurate representation of the youth of this country. I weep for our future.
U.S.
Love: That it gave my grandparents refuge
Hate: Political media that has huge amounts of bias and mudslinging(both sides). Also, mainstream hip hop. Less Lil' Wayne, more of the Pharcyde!
USA
Love movies, and some video games
]
HATE- ALL ELSE, especially the gov, but i am not an extremist or anything *nervously shifts eyes*
USA
Love- The safety (I live in the ghetto but even that's safer than many other countries) and freedom (although I fear that it is dwindling)
Hate- The fact that the rulers aren't even the government. It's the big time corporations. I also hate the petty partisan attitudes and the people who fan those flames, and I hate both political parties. We desperately need a third party because, like I said earlier, the corporations bought out the Democrats and Republicans.
Canada
Love: very multicultural and tolerant, very little violence, lots of beautiful scenery and outdoors stuff to do, free health care.
Hate: our broken electoral system, lack of technological services such as Netflix, Gamefly, unlimited data plans, etc.
New Zealand
Loves: Alot! I guess unspoiled environment.
Hate: Can't get RB2 hardware nor Deadly Premonition.
" USA Love: Hate: All the parasitic troglodytes who don't deserve a say in how our country is ran. "Was troglodytes your word of the day?
