Today a child (5 or 6 years old I think) threw a fist sized rock at my dog when he barked at him. The young boy appeared to be trying to either touch the dog through the fence or open the gate, I'm unsure. After he threw the rock I yelled (not angrily or overly aggressive) out at him and his mother who was walking ahead of him: "Don't throw rock's at my dog!" She responded by yelling back at me to make my dog shut up, completely ignoring the fact that her child threw a large rock into my yard, at my dog and barely missing my truck!
And last week the same mother (I believe) and a bunch of young girls (probably around 10 or so) were prancing around in my driveway taunting my dog making him bark. I told them "Stop annoying my dog!" they responded by laughing and telling me to make him shut the F up.
Anyone got any good advice for dealing with jerk wad neighbors?
I'm readying a digital camera to setup in my window in case this happens again so I have physical proof.
I would also like to state that my yard is fully fenced and has a large "Guard dog on premise" sign affixed to the gate and in plain site. I have my yard fenced in, gated and guarded by a wolf x German Shepard cross because crack heads kept coming into my yard and breaking into my families cars to steal crap! One time one even broke into my house!
