I don't think anyone understands how funny linkin park is.  On their last CD they had a song about terrorism that I couldn't stop laughing through it was so bad.  Maybe everyone who listens to them just wants a good laugh.

It just shows that a lot of people have a terrible taste in music. Just like plenty like Michael Bay movies, and defender Transformers 2.

I tend to believe that all music has some merit, but there is a line I dare not cross.  On the other side of that line is Nickelback.  One of the few musical acts I truly want to kill. 
 
In Australia we have an ice cream called a Paddle Pop (a kids ice cream, not sure if it is world wide).  They have a character for it, called the Paddle pop Lion.  The lead singer of Nickelback is simply referred to as The Paddle Pop Lion.  Is this Australia only?   If you google Paddle Pop Lion and Nickelback, there are all sorts of referneces, including an entry in the Urban Dictionary.   Urban Dictionary: paddlepop lion

I don't mind listening to Disturbed now and then. Bought their 3-pack back in the Rockband 1 days and still enjoy playing them on drums. Hell of a lot of foot-pedal notes on expert.. pretty sure their drummer has a fidgety leg or something. >.>

I happen to like Eminem a lot, but seeing as how these artists are popular they automatically suck. Obviously if they're making a shit ton of money and have waves upon waves of fans, they suck. What you should be listening to is this black viking metal band from east buttfuck switzerland that myself and two others have heard of. While their music is barely audible due to the distortion of the guitars and the grunting of the "vocalist", you know they're good. At least, until they get signed to a record label at which point they instantly suck.

I hate to be a music snob, because whatever moves someone is their business and even most genres that I don't like have well crafted music on occasion that I can appreciate. That said, this is an exception and that list is full of douchery.

MIA is fine. You're allowed to like music that's popular, unique flower children.

I like Viva la Vida.  The others are meh except for Nickelback.  They don't jive with me...uh, I guess.
