Pens and Pencils.

What is the best type of these two common items? I do believe that the 2B Pencil from WHSmiths is superior to the HB pencil found in ASDA. 
 
I guess for America's population that visit here, it would be Wal-Mart and... erm... Wal-Mart? I've heard those places are like HUGE over there. 
 
So! Which one is the best?

People actually care about what type of pen or pencil they're using? Hm. If I can write with it, I consider it good.

You didn't say what you think the best type of pen is.

But like, do you not prefer to write with a Biro over the silly and expensive Parker pens?
 
Or write with a pencil thicker than another?! I notice these things.

I use a keyboard to write.

I like my Pilot G2 fine point gel pens.  They always last a LONG time and the writing looks great.

2B pencils are quite a mess to use for writing, sure whatever you are writing will be easier to to read since 2B pencils are darker then HB but there is the risk that your hand passes over the paper and that you smear the graphite all over it. Also it is pretty hard to completely erase something written with a 2B pencil.

I prefer pens, but I always write better with pencils. Perhaps I'm just scrawling with a pen, and I take my time with a pencil. Actually, my handwriting isn't too hot, so I'll go with that. Pens for the win, though.

You should visit the pencil museum in Keswick.

it doesn't matter what u write with as long as it writes. in the 4th and 5th grade my teacher made the class get a special pencil, dexin dicodrogo 1588 2 soft. sadly she made me say it so much that i remember it :'( 
 
now, i'm in college where i can write with anything. i write with a pen from staples.

This topic just reminded me I should go buy some pens for school instead of writing with crappy broken in half pencils.
