So it's been like a million years since my last playlist. But it's finally here, the wait is over. Today I'm going to focus on just one band, because that makes this whole thing a lot easier for me.
TISM (This Is Serious, Mum)
From Australia. Probably one of the more interesting bands I've discovered in forever. Most of you will probably know them from the "Sex Bunny" video featuring the track "Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me". Catchy pop tunes laced with clever (and sometimes not so clever) generally highly offensive satirical lyrics and themes. At this point I'm basically recommending getting everything they've ever created. Highly entertaining stuff, sure to make even the most depressed emo feel a little bit good at least.The following songs are entitled "Whatareya?", "Greg! The Stop Sign" and "If You're Not Famous At 14 (You're finished)". Other honorable mentions would be "I Might Be A Cunt, But I'm Not A Fucking Cunt", "Defecate On My Face", "(There's Gonna Be) Sex Tonite" and "(He'll Never Be An) Ol' Man River", which is also known as the song that made Flea (from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers) go cry to his mum.
