My power charger for my laptop does not work most of the time, but I can get it to work on some electrical outlets. It probably just means it's a random occurrence whether it works though. Sometimes if I kick it around and move the power charger in different positions it works.

Is there a short circuit in it? Is it dangerous if I keep using this power charger?

Need more info: Is there a light on the cord transformer (the black block in the middle of the cord)? If so, is it lit up when the cord doesn't otherwise appear to be working? What do you mean by "move the power charger in different positions?" Does the cord plug into the back or side of your laptop?

Check the wire and see if theres a tear on it somewhere or check where the cord plugs into you'r laptop and see if it's severed .That happened to my laptop power charger and when i moved it sometimes it would work hope this helped .

If your erectorial cord stays hot for more than 4 hours, consult your manufacturer immediately!
