Professional Wrestling Anime - how we get Dan interested?

So we all know Dan (along with others here but lets be honest mostly Dan) loves to cast shade on Anime. Though he loves professional wrestling which could be said to have many of the same characteristics. I mean Dragonball and other Shonen is basically professional wrestling. Then there are anime shows that take on professional wrestling in a more direct way. Most recent example being the most recent episode of Akiba's Trip the animation....thought I would ask others for examples like this see if we can convince Dan to opine on some of these shows. Thoughts?

There was a "what anime would Dan like" or something like that thread a while ago - like, around when he first started - that got pretty big, what with people legitimately trying to get him into stuff, people ironically posting stuff that he would actually probably hate, and people posting something along the lines of "if the man doesn't like anime then he doesn't like anime, leave him alone."

If he could wade past the cheesecake and the bad fantasy and the harem stuff, I bet Dan probably would enjoy some anime, but all the wrestling, video games, and action movies probably keep him busy enough so this is the part where I shrug my shoulders and go back to doing something else.

But really, did Dan ever watch Cowboy Bebop?

Someday, Dan will use the 'Anime Dan' character and 50% of the audience will actually think he's serious about anime.

@marz: As someone who watched the whole season of that. Its really terrible.
