Don't know if you've ever been, but if you have, which city do or did you like better? And don't ask why it's important to me, I don't feel like elaborating.
I've been to both. One is rainy and cold, the other is sunny and beautiful. One has a good music scene and the other has hot babes. One is on a fault line and the other is not so close to a fault line. Hmmmm... I'll pick San Dieo, because it also has a less famous rock scene but the women and weather are amazing. Also, you can always drive to Washington. Unless money is envolved. Then I'd go with the better future of becoming rich.
@NTM: True. But, would you rather have varied or always sunny. Depends on your personality. Some people go nuts in San Diego because there are no seasons. And some folks gripe about those other people because "they just like to complain and aren't happy." Personally, I don't care where I am, as long as there's good people to hang out with nearby. Money doesn't even drive me that much crazy. Although I do hate constant rain for days on end. That gets a bit depressing. But that's why we have video games and movies. Now the women factor... that's a whole other story. Girls in Seattle are freaky... and San Diego girls are another kind of freaky.
@danimal_furry: Their freaky here in Seattle? How? Personally, as I see it, it's about the same depending on where you go in each state. Only difference is that I hear there are a lot more mexicans there. And trust me, a lot of people in San Diego (that I know of) love rain and complain that they don't get it. So... varied? Yeah, but I don't care either for the same reason. I'm not saying I dislike either Seattle or San Diego anyways. I'd actually love to live near San Diego when I get older, and get away from WA.

Ha. No. Trust me. I'm not like a lot of other "Halo lovers" whatsoever. Personally I just got into Halo within the last month or so. Ya know you could just reply to me if it concerns you. If it's any consolation, I change my avatar often enough. So, you don't have to worry that I am some sort of fanboy. Ha ha ha.
San Diego is such a bland city. I love San Francisco, and LA has its charms, but SD is just so damn boring in my mind, so I'll go with Seattle (although I'm really a New Yorker at heart).
I live in Seattle as well and it's rad. I went to San Diego once when I was seven years old, and I don't remember much about it. I'm assuming that it's probably hot quite a bit so that's a no-go for me. I'm gonna go with Seattle.
Seattle has some pretty bad planning, but so does San Diego. Being a child of northern California, I tend to think I have more in common with the Pacific Northwest than Southern California (two VERY different cultures).
