R.I.P Jadey Jackson

Today my sisters cat Jade passed away.

She had been fighting cancer for about a year and passed this morning. It's been a really difficult day and I wanted to thank Giant Bomb for keeping me occupied when nothing else is working. It's way more impatctful than I could have anticipated and would love for some of duders to have her in their thoughts. Don't want to bring anyone down, just needed to write this for me I guess.

Anyway I love you guys and here's to Jade for being such a wonderful cat for me and my family.

Sorry to hear about your cat losing a pet is awful I been there stay strong.

Now I'm interested to know cat cancer rates. Damn, 50% of cat deaths are cancer related. That's a shocking statistic.

Sorry for your loss duder, I'm a big animal/pet guy myself and I know I bawled like a baby when my dog passed away, they really are family, it hurts. Hopefully GB can continue to provide you with entertainment and distraction whenever you need it!

Yeah, you made me do a double take when I saw that, I guess a lot of it might be people just not knowing what to look for or finding out to late so the cats can't be treated in time. I don't even blame anybody, I owned cats for the majority of my life and wouldn't even know what symptoms to look for until the 'too late' stuff appeared.

Man ,that sucks. Really sorry to hear about that. One of my sisters cats had a tumor removed just a couple weeks ago, thankfully he made it.

I've never had a cat die of old age yet.

Jadey Jackson is such a great name.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you feel. Years ago we had a family dog that was diagnosed and died from cancer. I don't know, there's just something really heartbreaking when you hear about pets becoming sick like that. :(
