Yup. Although I am totally fine with discussing social and political issues with my fellow duders, this thread has been done so many fucking times it's getting old. "

Why do these threads exist?

The onus shouldn't be on other users to come up with something exciting or interesting for your topic. Fact is, the discussion brought up here isn't much of one at all, being introduced with all of one sentence and a crapton of potential for flaming and arguments.
