My friends,

during a juvenile discussion at work, it quickly became apparent that the word "innuendo" is now a double entendre.

Does anyone else find this a little disturbing?

I'm quickly running out of safe zones for family conversation. I'm visiting my grandmother tomorrow.

Can anyone help me keep my mind out of the gutter? I've heard large gulps of grapefruit juice between sentences can help.

Many thanks.

Ah! You misunderstood.

A double entendre is a form of innuendo. Our language is closing in on itself, at least where I work.

You see, a colleague immediately repeated "innuendo" as "in who's end, though."

Our work is not especially taxing on the mind.

I'm not sure, maybe I'm really stupid, but I'm really missing you at some point in your post.

This is why it's never to good idea to post every random thought that pops into your head as a new thread on the forums.
