I mean I trust The Daily show way more than any traditional news program. Isn't that sad, I trust the fake news show more that real ones.

It's great, but Colbert Report is better.

I really enjoy the Daily Show, but the BBC is my news source. They have yet to let me down. I particularly love the Q&A's they have on the website, great primers for some big issues.

Both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show are great news programs, and they don't take themselves seriously which makes the satire actually funny (instead of coming off as total, uninformed douchebags). They are probably not the best news show, in the literal sense of the term, but they are really funny and entertaining.

I like how on the Colbert Report, his total unthinking acceptance of far right wing republican beliefs actually is greatly effective in making fun of it. Ahhh satire, I love it.

I would, if it was a news show, and not a comedy show.

The Colbert Report has gotten a little silly lately, so I prefer actually watching the Daily Show over Colbert. I wouldn't just get my news from him though, since while he is an equal oppourtunity mocker, his ideas are more liberal, and so I need either a balanced source or one equally skewed to the right in order to compensate. Unfortunate that one doesn't exist.

It's fun to watch, and actually can fill you in on some of the latest news stories, but calling it a news show seems...wrong imo.
