So on Giant Bomb is there no way to have sig? Also do you level up and get names like on GS or do you just collect points?
Signatures and Level-ups
Yeah, sigs are vital. I think on an internet forum like this, sigs are even more important than avatars when it comes to distinguishing user from user
Yeah I had a really cool Joker sig at GS that I am hoping some one can take out the old GS name and input my new GB name. I like the sig I just don't want it all gone. Just my old name.
"Pm me the sig and i'll see what i can do :)Ok thanks will do.
and i agree sigs are vital to a forum i love making a new one to switch out once in a while.

TEXT signatures mind. I don't want to be trailing through loads and loads of images. But yeah, sigs would be nice.
I also wouldn't mind some kind of level or rank related to both your post count, amount of time spent on the site and most importantly your contributions to the Wiki.
White backgrounds behind text heavy areas aswell?
I agree, I need my O-Zone sig... otherwise nobody will recognize me.
And Why So Serious, who were you at Gamespot?

I'm pretty sure they are just in the initial stages and will implement different features in the future. I have mixed feelings about signatures. Some are quite simple, such as a gamertag bar and others are just to cluttered and bulky. Perhaps, a cap on space you can use would keep the forums less cluttered with visually unpleasing html signatures.
I would be surprised if signatures never showed up, but I do agree that they can sometime clutter up forums. I like having my own because I use a very simple picture and link to my own site, but a lot of people throw gigantic pictures that aren't even needed into their sigs...and that's just annoying.
