SlamMan vs. Punch-Out!!
Probably shouldn't be arcade buttons on the dummy, since they're way harder to hit with boxing gloves.
The only thing wrong is that the in-game punches are delayed...because ideally, a button would somehow have to be pressed at the START of your actual punch so that you and Mac are actually hitting something/someone at the same time. Mac doesn't actually hit the opponent the same time you hit the Slam Man, because once you hit the Slam Man, it only STARTS Mac's punch. Man, I'm too pessimistic...I always have to point out the downsides to things. This is still awesome either way.
The buttons should be a more vivid and colour. also, having to flicking your eyes between both the screen and the Slam Man isn't great. It's still a nice bit of novelty though.
This is how the robo-- machine revolution gets started.
It'd be hilarious if it punched back, though.
Ha cool, I have SlamMan. I use a stylized pic of his face as my personal Gamerpic on Live. Thanks for posting the infomercial, looked like a young Neal McDonough from Band of Brothers and Street Fighter slamming that guys head into the desk!
they need a wiimote that you can mount to your head for dodging for the new game and a peripheral that you can use like slam man for the wii. i would totally buy that. heck, i own 3 fake guitars for music games. this would be way more fun! you could come out with boxing hero/karate hero/mma hero. i would buy them all!
Ehhh... it should use the shock sensitive padding of the puppet not arcade buttons.
Yeah, arcade buttons are lame for this. If it had like you say sensitive padding. They could get the Heavyweight Contender Kit, and stick the King Hippo blow up doll over the Slam Man. Screw that, you take the internals out of the Slam Man, then fill King Hippo with foam and house the internals.

You see this, Peter Moore? Make Fight Night peripheral based to counter Activision. As a used-to-be skater, I would still rather play a peripheral based Fight Night than Tony Hawk Ride.
