You should include pics. The American definition of "bread" escapes me most of the time.

What is this untoasted or toasted nonsense? It's either bread or toast. You're all mad! Mad I tell you!

It depends on what I am using the bread for.  If it is with my eggs and bacon breakfast, I like it toasted.  If I am making a sandwich(my favorite, PB&J, or other), I like it untoasted.

When I was in the states, real bread was really, really hard to come by. It's as if they don't know it.

Bread.

I tried it once a long time ago and remember not liking it to much.  I might try it again soon to see if my taste for it has changed or not.

If you also turn your ham and cheese sandwhich into a grilled sandwhich, it tastes fantastic. But I don't know if that counts as "toasting" your bread.

I had to go with untoasted. I eat more of it. But toasted is still quite good.

I voted untoasted since that's the most common way I use bread, but I will definitely toast it in certain situations such as a tuna melt, etc.

I always prefer bread to be toasted, with the sole exception of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I think they're awesome either way, but I like them more when the bread isn't toasted.

Hey, I love Captain Crunch, maybe that's why the roof of my mouth hurts. That and hot pizza.

It depends on what sandwich I'm making, and I honestly barely used sliced bread. There are so many other breads out there that are better for sandwich making. The only sandwiches I can think of that I use toast is pb+j, and you can't toast that. But I do occasionally make mozzarella and basil sandwiches and that requires toasting.

This is my final answer. Sandwiches I don't like it toasted, but with eggs I can't imagine it not being toasted.

I go both ways, but if we're talking sandwiches, must be toasted.

Here's what I dig: toasted, but then you let it go stone MFing cold. Then you butter it. Cold toast rocks my bollocks.
