So I bought an Itouch

I was surprised at how much random crap is available in the Itune store. (flashlight app completely blew my mind) I was thinking about buying the Giant Bomb app but I don't truly understand what comes with the app.  Any help?
Secondly, any advice any decent games for it? I don't feel like repurchasing Final Fantasy again, and the free games section seems very throw away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The giant bomb app lets you watch videos mainly.  So you can watch the quick looks, video reviews, or the endurance run even.  
As for games, I've got a list I compiled together over here, check it out.

The flashlight app is actually incredibly useful for walking around the house at night.

Plants Vs. Zombies is all you'll need. Maybe Peggle.

There's Broken Sword: The Director's Cut if you want to play a point-and-click adventure game.

Why bother? Why not go all the way and get an iPhone? iTouch's are such a waste of money.

hmmm. Iphones are same price as ipod touches..... i would never get an ipod touch, i just have my iphone

Ones that come to mind. StoneLoops, Peggle, Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, DoodleJump, Rock Band, Sleep Cycle (not a game, but a very useful application), Lightsaber, Rope'n'Fly... there are many more, but those are the ones that I remember enjoying the most.

oo, and I just recently downloaded Tomena Sanner :). Will have to get around to playing that.

Please don't tell me the flashlight app is not free.

So many good games you need along with the GB iPhone app. I have Doodle Jump, Zogma, Parachute Ninja, so many others. There are so many good apps I have on my iPhone.

That's why you buy a unlocked one. Then that solves all problems. You can get them at resonable prices from some places. Others will charge ridiculous amounts. I got mine through rogers awhile ago "

I got mine stolen out of my pocket yesterday during lunch break when i went to subway. I hope the kid that stole it contracts a disease and dies slowly and painfully >_>

I have an iTouch. I don't consider it having been worth the $100 I paid to relieve a friend of his old 2G one. I have 3 purchased apps. They're so lame, that I forget what they are.

the giantbomb app is quite good, but they should implement forum usage.

Yep. Been rolling with iPhones since they launched here in Canada, started with the 3G and moved to the 3GS last june when they came out, never looked back. Sure they are expensive, but it is definitely worth it. "

I have decided that i will get every other iphone, I got the 3g when it came out in canada, and will get this years upcoming iphone model. The 3gs is nice and way faster, but I just want to make the jump and buy a new iphone when there are some substantial changes. i.e 64gb+ internal storage space. Can't wait til I can fit my whole library of music on my phone... 16gb is not enough. Considering I use my phone everyday for web browsing, email, music, texts, and calls the operating cost each day is nothing. It's like buying a coffee a day "

I find that most apps are very pointless and stupid. 
 
If you want free apps, jailbreak it.

nice, they are pretty good for people that have a different phone and don't want to get a iphone.
