So I don't like women and she doesn't like men, but we have all the trappings of a great couple except we don't think each other is sexy. Back when we were still both in the closet (we're both closeted to our families still) she considered being my girlfriend. Should I say something to her? I feel pathetic asking the INTARNET for relationship advice, but it's too late to take it back now.

Yeah, it sounds like you...aren't gay. I saw Milk and Cleve Jones seemed to be close with the lesbian, but not in that type of close way. I honestly think you may need to reconsider your orientation if this is what you envision your life as.

Talk to her, if she has the same feelings for you then give it a try; it sounds like you both know eachother really well so youv'e got nothing to loose...and if it doesn't work out you can go back to being friends.

I don’t understand. If you get on with this woman, but do not find her attractive then continue being good friends. If you want a relationship but are gay then try finding a male partner i hear that works. If you want to trick your families in to thinking you are both strait then by all means pretend to be romantically involved with this woman.
Of course you can't change your orientation and even if you do change your feelings she has to change hers. A lot of people are saying try it, well, if your both willing I guess it couldn't hurt? Anyway to be soul mates with someone doesn't mean you have be in a relationship with them.

Have you ever read Atlas Shrugged? That's like the kind of sex it seems Ayn Rand thinks all sex should be like. Personally, I say you try it. If you're close friends and your open to each other about you sexuality, maybe your close enough to try a relationship with her. If it all works out that way, you relationship could go surpass physical attraction to become something truly special. Too many of the adolescents on this forum think that relationships are purely sexual, and this isn't true. Go for it.

Warning!!! Not serious answer!!! (But idk, it could still work): Take pictures of yourself naked and ask her to do the same. Look at her picture. If you get a wiggle down there, then you might have something in store between each other for the future. And be sure to ask her what she thought. Serious answer: See above. (not really) You should try telling her, that all your life you thought you could never be sexually attracted to a girl, but she is the perfect one for you. She alone, made you question your sexuality and she did the same toward you. Tell her that this is something to special to ignore and that you should try to give it a shot and if things don't work out you already know why and you can continue to be friends.

It sounds to me like you think of her as a best friend. I guess similar to how I want to grow old with some of my friends. That doesn't mean I'd marry them though.

Well, if you're completely confortable with this, I don't see any problems in telling her how you feel. I don't know if this apllys to everyone, but finding out that you are loved by someone is a pretty good thing. Plus you don't have all the sexual tension, which is what really makes most relationship stuff (at least to me) difficult, so it probably won't be that hard.

I have a distant kind-of-uncle who's gay, who married a woman (his best friend, a lesbian) to help her retain her immigration status and stay in the country. If you think it would be mutually beneficial for the two of you, why not go for it? If you're intelligent, you could conceivably work out an understanding regarding physical releases anyway. Why the hell not.
I have seen this happen before.I worked with a lady for a real long time that was a lesbian but she isn't anymore,she actually has a boyfriend now,which is really awesome for people to make a sudden change like that IMO.
