So Kanye West has a new album coming out

and it is called (well supposedly) Yeezus. Best name for an album or the best name for an album?

I'm not sure why there is red tape on it, I assume the real thing won't have that on...it is HIDEOUS

This is one of the new songs off the album that Kanye projected a video (the music video?) of in 66 different cities.

Personally I can't wait for more Kanye, apart from Cruel Summer (which really wasn't a Kanye West album) I have loved each of his albums.

I still haven't listened to cruel summer but otherwise there isn't any kanye west material I don't love, 808s included (even if i love it less). MBDTF had a real sense of finality to it and while it isn't my favourite album of his it was easily his most grandiose, it'll be interesting to see if he can top it

He is a genius, the man can make amazing music and he is equally brilliant at marketing it. I'm still not sure what the album will sound like, it's not going to be the Kanye I love the most (College Dropout version of him) but I'm sure it will be the most talked about album of the year, at least in the hip/hop community. And with the SNL performance last night combined with the rumors of him working with Skrillex, Hudson Mohawk and Daft Punk, I think it will be an interesting mix of genres, very dark and provocative.

@jacdg: Rumour has it that its going to be dark and industrial music influenced. Black Skinhead sounds like a NiN song and samples Marilyn Manson, after all.

That Black Skinhead song sounds crazy for a Kanye. You gotta give the guy credit for reinventing himself constantly.

If you ask me, Kanye lost the magic not long after Graduation, but best of luck to him.

Daft Punk worked on a bunch of tracks for him, so I'm interested to hear what they managed to create for him.

New Daft Punk and new Kanye = best summer ever.

IMO MBDTF is up there with Late Registration, but that might just be me. Never really fell off Kanye's work, it feels different but it's just as good.

only listened to new slaves and think its pretty bad. i dont even know why i was expecting more from kanye.

Well, I really enjoyed his last album so I'll probably check this one out, too.

I don't really like this new single and I've liked all of his albums...yes even 808s and Heartbreaks. Whatever, I didn't really like Power that much and My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy was great. I guess we'll see.
