What are your thoughts? I believe the organization, shows and arenas were majestic...but the judging in some sports was heavily biased towards China, especially in gymnastics and fighting.
I watched a lot of it and thought it was really exciting. That said, I'm probably in the minority since this site is full of video game nerds that worship Jeff Gerstmann more than Michael Phelps.

You know the judging is done by the International Olympic Committee, so they're not biased towards the home country.

I know right...kinda sad. I am gone try to get my kids to train for the olympics...I guess we will see if I am successful in oh...about 2036. The closing ceremony is on...so I guess it is not completely over.

It's not really funny. It's sad and mean to talk about down-syndrome... but he does have a point. It's his teeth. They are really ****ed and it makes kinda have that,... *ahem* "I AM SLOW" smile. (He needs his teeth fixed)
Quite an interesting Olympics, in the field of different topics. The underage Chinese gymnastics (sorry, not confirmed underage), the surprising favoring of Chinese athletes in scoring (I know the judging is comprised of people from different countries), Micheal Phelps being insane (and that controversial one race talking about how he might have lost, then the new pictures owning all of the idiots), taunting from different athletes, then the genius ones that get themselves banned from future Olympic events.
But yeah, it is over, and the U.S. Open is tomorrow, what I truly cared about.
