Giant Bomb > Gamespot. i read gamespot once in awhile, but i after the fiasco with laying off and eating dirty sandwiches...i never went back.

I left Gamespot right after that 'Jeff being fired' fiasco, but I'd occasionally went back there to watch old episodes of On the Spot.

I am, mainly hang around system wars. I almost ditched after the whole jeff buisness, the site is trash now. Just hard to leave all the precious fanboy fights in system wars.

I too, left gamespot after the whole Jeff being fired deal. But I still went to the gamespot OT from time to time. No need for it now though!

I'm really glad the forums on here have much slacker rules than gamespot...I mean seriously, you have to act like you are talking to an 8 year old in order to not be moderated. I found it stupid.

I suppose in a way i came from Gamespot, i quit using gamespot from the moment Jeff was fired and when Ryan left it just reiterated my point in not wanting to be a part of gamespot any longer. Since then i have sort of hovered round on numerous gaming sites and once i heard the news Jeff and Ryan were working on a site i was instantly over here.

Agreed. But lets not take advantage of it or they'll have to resort to the same methods gamespot used. I a lot less advertising that GS too. Maybe it's too soon for ads. I like how everything you do fades in. Uploading an image, posting a comment it all looks really cool.

gamespot is a joke, their reviews are slow to put out and the whole system is laughable. their top guy Kevin Van Ord is a joke in and of himself, as we all know he is behind everything.

Exactly, we must not take advantage, so no swearing for the sake of swearing, because that just makes you look stupid. As for the ads, Im sure they will put more in. After all, money for the site's maintenance doesnt grow on trees...Then again I have adblock on :p
Also, how does one post images by hotlinking? Do I have to use the HTML code? Or is there a option Im missing in the posting device?

I have been with Gamespot for a looooong time and now I'm here. Only reason to go back to Gamespot would be more boobs!

I used to do everything on gamespot. I'd listen to the hotspot, watch on the spot and all spot related media. Then Rich left and after that Jeff got fired. My interest in the sight dropped heavily. The two main faces of gamespot were gone. But i tried to keep goin i mean there were other personalities i really liked, like Alex Navarro, and Ryan Davis. Then they both left too. So i just kind of fell outa gamespot and converted to gametrailers. Also you dont have to pay just to watch HD videos on gametrailers.

Anyways ive been comin to this site sionce it started and now it's grown up and that's rad.

I am, I haven't really been back since the whole Jeff fiasco. I did watch their live E3 stream for the press conferences but that was only because I couldn't find a live stream anywhere else.

Same with me, it just wasnt the same after Rich and Jeff went. They kept it together pretty well, until the rest all left ... then it fell to pieces. I watched on the spot the other week and i was gobsmacked at how much worse it is now.

I used to hang around OT since about 2006 christmas, then after the Jeff fiasco my account (blazin ice90) got banned. Then I recently made a new account on GS which I posted on OT only ( Chicken Pr0n)

I left Gamespot because there shows were so awkward, they were hard to watch, especially the tournament TV ones. After Jeff and Ryan left I ditched that joint and came on board the BOMB. This site is wicked and I love every bit about it, Keep it going guys.

I still check out on the spot from time to time but it's pretty terrible now. I just wanna see the games.
