Swedish candy is NOT terrible, that salty shit is, in my opinion, but I'm eating some Marabou Daim right now along with some julmust and it is delicious

Swedish candy is the best. Djungelvrål is the best candy in the world. köp lösvikt då tar du det som är gott.

I enjoy Swedish candy, I can't understand people that like really sweet stuff.

HEY SWEDEN IS GREAT OKAY.

, back me up here man.

#8 Posted by Meltac (1895 posts) - 6 months, 3 days ago

Swedish food is fucked up. The candy on the other hand is delicious.

#9 Posted by TobbRobb (3393 posts) - 6 months, 3 days ago

Candy in general is terrible. But I'd say Swedish stuff is slightly better than the rest because it generally isn't as disgustingly sweet. That goes for soft drink like coke as well, coke from the UK is so sugary and gross.

Fuck the haters yo! Sweden knows what's up.

If you all hate Swedish candy so much, how 'bout I knock yer teeth out and you wont have to worry about eating it!?

Swedish candy is great. American candy, however, is for the most part gross and tastes like carpet cleaner and oil residue.

@Azteck: I got your back.

@JackSukeru: He's danish you know!

Also, looking at the wiki page for Swedish cuisine makes me realize that the food is pretty bad. The candy is still great though.

@Swoxx: Meh, sometimes you gotta risk it for the joke.

Edit: make some risky assumptions, I mean.

Edit2: Also, that actually explains a lot.

Swedish candy is fucking awesome.
Salty Liqourice(or, not salty, doesn't matter) just tastes terrible.

Food is great too!

You's telling me you don't like köttbullar? You might as well say that you hate Sweden at that point!

But yes our food isn't great. :(

Hey....american candy is just fine. Also, you are fucking insane if you think sweet candy is bad. That is like the entire point of candy man.

#26 Posted by Loafsmooch (238 posts) - 6 months, 2 days ago

Köttballs ftw yo

#27 Posted by CaLe (2567 posts) - 6 months, 2 days ago

Who decided that salt was a good thing to put on candy? Who in their right mind would do such a thing?

#28 Posted by qawsed (135 posts) - 6 months, 2 days ago

And it's not really salt, it's ammonium chloride--the product of hydrochloric acid and ammonia.

#29 Posted by JackG100 (366 posts) - 6 months, 2 days ago

Sweden is the best at everything.

#30 Posted by matti00 (604 posts) - 6 months, 2 days ago

Salty stuff and licorice is a no-no for me I'm afraid. Never been to Sweden but they were big on it in Iceland and I wasn't a fan. I prefer much sweeter stuff.

Their actual food though - as long as it's not petrified fish (tried and didn't like) - is pretty good. Plus Sweden is just cool.
