I killed Belial.
Something positive you did today?
Had some issues with my PC lately. Using my professional Google search skills I managed to find that it was a RAM problem.
I then made a bootable CD with a memtest program on it and tested each stick of RAM I have to find that one of them is indeed faulty. Then I ordered a new stick.
I felt like a computer technician or something.
Not really a good deed but that's what I had to do to day.
@MikeGosot:
Except I do not lie. I have no plans for buying a new computer. The closest thing to that is when I spent some time today cleaning some dust out of my computer, and even then, remember that the superlative is not the declarative.
Lying is bad. You're probably investing into a missile that turns people into computers.@MikeGosot:

Kicking ass and taking names in SFxT wheee. Also enjoying the first day of sun after a week of nothing but rain, hooray!

I got up early, saw the sunrise, had a warm cup of coffee with lots of sugar and a cigar while listening to The Kinks. It's the simple things.
I like the idea of this thread too. Didn't do anything groundbreaking, I was suppose to apply to a few jobs but I keep putting that off so hopefully tomorrow I can get that done. Took my brother to work and actually bought some clothes today, I don't think I've gotten myself anything in over a year so it felt cool and I cut my hair. Other than that I played some TF2 and had some pretty good games.
I didn't do much today, except go to church...
Friday was more interesting. I went with my sisters to campus for a while and we fed a bunch of squirrels.
Positive for myself?
I started working out a couple days ago, thought I was already going to flop but I pushed myself to get outside and go for a run. It felt pretty good once I had gotten started. I also introduced some vegetables to my diet while getting rid of some junk.
In terms of doing stuff for other people I can't think of anything particularly impressive. I promised my little brother and sister that I would take them out to lunch next weekend and it brought smiles to their faces so that was kinda fun.
Nice to see some positivity. Kudos to you @believer258.
@Video_Game_King: Of course it's something positive. And yeah, going outside and enjoying the sun is doing something. *boggles*
Sent chocolate and flowers anonymously to a friend who was just told she would be bedridden for the next three weeks.
I suppose I did some slightly positive things today, but I didn't feel good about any of it. I'm a real downer, doom-and-gloom type of guy. I tried to build a hammock stand for my backyard, but it turned out like shit. But oh well, at least I tried I guess (there, that's positive)
@Video_Game_King: And eating sushi is bad for the fish being consumed, I'm sure. But I would still consider it a positive thing I was doing. Om nom nom.

I watched The Rocketeer for the first time today. That movie is pretty great. Oh, you mean "good deed" good kind of things. Well, I helped take care of my grandmother's dog whilst she's out on vacation.
The Rocketeer was definitely the high point though. Nothing against my grandmother's dog (the dog is a very nice and well behaved dog), but that dog doesn't have a jet-pack or fight Nazis.
I haven't seen that movie in forever but think about it's art direction a lot. Some truly awesome art deco stuff in that.
Today I worked in our new office a little bit (the firm I work at is moving to a different floor), and we finished furring out the wall below the window sills and got it all painted.
I finished recreating Ryan's Summerjam playlist on Rdio for Canadians or other non-Americans who can't access Spotify and have Rdio (It's missing a couple songs but otherwise it's all there according to a list a dude posted of it). I did most of it a few days ago but today I just noticed someone listened to it today so obviously that improved someone's day because that list is amazing. If anything is missing that is on Rdio, let me know. There's 5 or so songs missing because they are straight up not on Rdio.

SHAKE YA ASS BUT WATCH YO SELF
I unintentionally cock-blocked a friend and ended up saving the girl he was trying to get with from dealing with his shit all day while we were swimming. Does that count?
P.S. by unintentionally I mean that I was not interested in this girl or trying to cock-block him but she was all over me the entire day, he is now mad at me. I wasn't even trying.
I bought my nephew a birthday present, made dinner for my visiting parents, gave my niece a piggyback ride, made dinner for my entire family. Some other stuff.
I woke up early and finished the clothes, helped cook breakfast, played some more Just Cause 2, worked out some, and got to seriously thinking about joining ROTC to pay for my college, which will mean 4 years of military service as an officer. That last one is just a thought, but an important one and surprisingly one that I'm finding quite viable.
