Steryotypical Thanksgiving Thread

So here in the USA it is thanksgiving and stuff. Usually we sit back and think about all the things we are thankful for. So here is a quick list of mine.

The internet, my parents, my friends, video games, my house, my car, people that put up with me, films, moneyz, Black Friday, and last and most important: my awesome bed.

So kids what are YOU thankful for?

Friends and Family and having a fuck ton of money.

I really like that you said that. Whenever someone says something is on Netflix instant I'm always like "No it isn't! I'm in Canada." Mostly out of jealousy in that case but I always find it nice when someone doesn't pretend USA= The World. Like in the show heroes. "New York might blow up. THE WORLD IS DOOOOOOMED!"

But that aside. I am thankful for being in a situation where I have choice. I haven't been able to find a job and have decided to move to South Korea to teach ESL. Many factors allow me that choice, and I am thankful for them. Other than that...video games and fast...ish internet.

I'm thankful I get to spend my time doing what I love. (No, not playing games)

Edit: Not that I'm not thankful for the weekend, but pointing out that it is not yet Thanksgiving, even in the US.

@IzzyGraze: Yes there is a lot of Americans who think that the only country of Importance or that our holidays relate everywhere and they do not. Same as when we call our Independence Day the Fourth of July. Now the Fourth of July is more of a holiday just for being a day with fireworks than for being a day with actual Independence.

Besides the standard family, friends, and etc. i'm actually thankful for something that i don't have anymore; and that is my old job. Left it in the beginning of the year and have regained the self-esteem that i lost because of it. Nothing like having some confidence in yourself again. Oh and not having to work on Black Friday is also fantastic :)

I'm thankful for my family, friends, my dog and that upside down exclamation point that is used when writing in Spanish. I like that last one a lot.

My mom and dad are both healthy and i have a job with zero debt. Same thing i am always thankful for every year.

I'm thankful for my caring friends and the fact I am still alive.

I'm thankful that my dog can travel on the plane with me (or rather arrive at the same destination where I'm headed).

No, no one thinks about what they're thankful for, they just want to get together and eat a lot of food.

I am thankful for my recliner, because now I don't have back problems from sitting in a piece of shit computer chair all day. Also I am thankful for Arizona's minimum wage rising, and for some very cool nights at my awesome job.

This has been a fantastic year for me and left me a lot to be thankful for. I met my current girlfriend who I absolutely love, I quit both of my retail jobs and got an amazing career advancing 9-5 job (that I start on Monday actually) and am moving out soon (I'm 20) so all together it has been a pretty banner year.

@Landon: Yeah pretty much, that's why I stopped going to my families Thanksgiving. One year two of my uncles got in a fight (verbal not physical) because one lets there kids believe in Santa and one doesn't, they didn't talk for two years after. I love my family...

I'm thankful for my girlfriend and our daughter.
