You don't have to ever have touched drugs to get in one of those moods. I mean it's more than likely that you've thought about doing some if you listen to so-called stoner music, but you know what I mean, right?
obviously, rap is not the only avenue where you'll find music influenced by similar substances, and it's definitely not the only stuff I listen to when I'm in one of "those moods."
That would kind of defeat the idea of widening your horizons and striving to be a generally loving and accepting person that I get from listening to songs in this class of music. then again, the messages of songs like this are so often very much privy to the listener's interpretation, so go ahead and just ignore that last sentence if you find yourself disagreeing haha
You know what, now I'm kind of questioning the validity of classifying music under that wide of a subgenre. After all, creative people from all walks of life will find themselves experimenting with different substances more often than not, right? I figure impulsiveness has a lot to do with being creative, and while that impulsiveness doesn't always have to result in less-than-savory habits, nobody is really perfect, you know?
Damn, that was a long post.
Anyway, just post a couple songs you like if you're feeling the thread, and if you're not, feel free to tell me to soak my head or call me the other f-word, I don't really mind
