Yea I was just reading how there's an anti-Islamic group getting popular in Sweden. Hard to believe there are far-right parties that are still popular in non-3rd world countries other than the GOP.
Crap, just noticed I forgot to add Piratpartiet (Pirate Party, open web advocates)...they might be big in the gaming community even if they seem fairly dead generally.

Denmark already has a similar party in their parliament. Sadly I think it might be more common than you think.

Sorry if I came across as angry or tense, I'm just a little pissed that SD might get into the Riksdag.
@Gargantuan: But in essence it's true. What they're suggesting will lead to a major cut in the available work force. Stopping immigration is a great way to make money short term, but in the long run you're screwed.
I'd probably vote for SD if I were Swedish. I saw a commercial that cracked me up. It was and old lady trying to reach a chain, for health care. Or several veiled women running at a chain for social security.
Kudos for the laughter it generated. And my sympathy goes out to Lars Vilks. Poor fella.
I just fucking hope Reinfeldt decides to do the right thing.... as much as I hate to say it that he tries to get Miljöpartiet to jump over to Alliansen.
I don't have much experience with Scandinavian politics, but I tend to most closely identify with the Social Democratic parties of Europe. If only the U.S. had a similar party (Democrats have been disappointingly conservative as of late).
SD feeds on people's fears. The major parties have done nothing to make the SD-voters feel like someone actually understands how they feel. Instead they are called horrible racists. This situation could have been avoided. All of us who have been silent are to blame, and also those who use violence and vuvuzelas to silence SD. Our leaders are spineless. We get what we deserve. Fuck.
I'm not old enough to vote yet and actually haven't been that interested in this election, but I just think it's freaking hilarious that SD got so many votes, and not really hilarious in a good way. We need pizza for christ sake.......
