I'm sorry, but did they really need to make this? I mean, I know it's dumb certain sequels come out, but this is just ridiculous nonsense. I saw the first film a very long time ago when I initially saw it (a year before it was even in theaters somehow), and at first, I didn't care for it, but the next viewings of the film later on my opinion of it was better, but it wasn't really that special. I Taken having a sequel to it is pointless, and it feels like it's there just so Neeson can say another thing like "I will find you, and I will kill." Which he pretty much does in this trailer here:

What do you think? Excited? Ha ha. I think at this point, it's just comedy.

I think the Tekken 1 trailer was better.

But yeah, poor Mr. Neeson must be downright unlucky to have this happen again.

Stoked! I really like the first one. More out of my love for Liam Neeson being a bad ass.

The first one is fucking amazing. Even though the set-up for 2 is pretty stupid, I'm still definitely looking forward to Liam Neeson beating the shit out of more bad guys. The thing that has me worried is the poor choice for director.

You have to respect a bad guy who doesn't really think things through. "Our brothers were killed after they kidnapped his daughter. Let's get our revenge by kidnapping his wife."

Liam better have another badass monologue about why kidnapping his wife wasn't a good idea. For people that are upset, relax. It's an action franchise so the story isn't what's important.

I was talking to a friend about this movie. I was surprised aswell to see a sequel. It didn't need a sequel and why doe's it have a similar plot to the first. The daughter gets kidnapped again and now the mother. So dude goe's on a killing spree around the city again.

Correct, the story was only in the first Taken to set up the awesome one-liners and rants. That being said, I enjoyed the first one and I'm looking forward to this.

Taken 2: The Bank.

I don't really have an opinion on this, but the joke had to be made.

- Taken was badass.

- I will watch the sequel.

- It should not be called Taken 2 and there was no need for them to play on the kidnap thing again.

Fuck i can't wait to see this Taken was a badass movie, Liam is awesome i saw The Grey recently and it was a great movie.

I just want to see Liam Neeson kick ass. And by the looks of it, he kicks plenty of ass in this sequel so I'm in.

Dude, I loved Taken. It's one of my favorite movies. That being said, I'm aware of the problem sequels have of living up to their predecessors so I'm cautiously optimistic for this.

Loved the first movie, but I'll probably wait until this is on Blu Ray.

Taken 4: Space.

I could tolerate another hour and half of Liam Neeson murdering everybody.

I will not be sated until Liam Neeson kills all of Europe. There is so much Europe left!

I will see it and I will enjoy it.

Love Taken. Hell, I loved From Paris With Love. Sadly, the director for Taken 2 doesnt fill me with tons of confidence, but Ill see it. Neeson is awesome.

Not gonna pay to watch it, that's for sure. The plot looks exactly like the first movie, but this time the wife gets taken instead.

I loved the first movie and this looks completely unnecessary. I have no interest in it at all and I don't think I'll ever watch it.

The first film was okay. It was really all about that first trailer and the whole "I will find you and I will kill you" bit, though. It didn't have much of a chance after that.

Liam Neeson has kind of been doing whatever the fuck he wants the last few years.

Taken is an awesome action movie. Hope this matches the badassery of the first one.

Yeah, I guess the enjoyment you'd get out of it could be just the same as the first, but it doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

You're talking about the guy who directed Transporter 3, as well as Colombiana, aren't you? In my opinion, those two movies were decent, but not great. I am a fan of the first Taken, and I am also hoping this will be good, as well.
