What are the Ashes?
- A roughly biennial cricket Test series between Australia and England played over 5 tests, started in 1882.

- Each test is a game played over no more than 5 days. Each team has two innings to score as many runs as they can, the team who bats first sets the total and the other team attempts to match or beat that total.
