The Endless Fuck Ups of Microsoft

So i just got my newly repaired xbox 360 in the mail today and i was quite excited all throughout the day to go get it and finally be able to play MK vs DC.  The Xbox i sent in was an elite and to my surprise when I opend the package they had given me a white xbox arcade or permium (samething).  So I found Xbox support and after 30 mins on the phone they said they would phone back in the next 3-5 days.....  Anyways so has anyone else been in this situation because i would like to know if i have to ship this Xbox back or if i can play it.

Microsoft always does a luzly move on me, last time it was giving me a Xbox 360 that had its HDD break out of the box. This time it is shitty customer service, but I guess I'm not answering your question. That sucks, dude.

At least it works. One that I got from them broke in five days, and another in two weeks.

That's bullshit. You sent them an Elite 360, you should get an Elite 360 back, not one of the lesser models. I would definatly contact Microsoft about that.

3 360's later and a stupid software malfunction that rendered my savegames deleted, and I still would rather eat shit than live without one.

My friend sent his system in because his game was jammed and he got like RROD, and all they sent him back was some random controller that he had never even sent in... NOT EVEN THE SYSTEM, just the controller... What's weird is he didn't even send a controller in...

- Saints Row - valid enough
- BioShock (exclusive for 2 years) - 2 years?!  when does 24 months = 14 months?
- Halo 3 - not my personal play choice, but apparently some people like it.
- Mass Effect (and the upcoming two sequels) - valid
- Fable 2 - played the 1st one, good enough.  Do you think it's going to stay on the 360 only?
- Rock Band 2 (exclusive for 2 months) - 2 months isn't exactly headline worthy.
- Halo 3: ODST - don't even know the quality yet
- Gears of War 2 - valid

Sorry Mike512, but 4/10 of those games you mentioned appeared on different platforms as well.

And the moral of the story is: Playstations break too. Everything breaks. I have a working NES and a broken PS2.  It's pretty random. This whole "Microsoft puts out shitty hardware and doesn't care" thing is bullshit. Microsoft and Sony are equally shitty. Treat your systems good and they'll last longer.

What do you people do to your 360s that require you to send it back to Microsoft? Toast it in a Microwave? I've never had this problem so I can't really sympathize with you, dude.
