@Whisperkill: Grim Reaper actually, was just a quick costume I put together and I couldn't find the skull-gloves I had made so I had to use some other gloves. I had another costume I was working on but I couldn't get it done in time, but next year! 'looks at his almost finished Talon Company costume from Fallout 3'

@Edin8999: You're not funny. You're just a dick. You speak of freedom of speech, which doesn't apply here at all. Just because you have the "Freedom" to say something, doesn't mean it's the right thing to say. Who fucking cares if he's black or not, even if he was white you don't say you are going to kill him. You're probably some white kid living out of his daddy's pockets, who has been the majority your whole life and think that making jokes about others is ok because you have gotten off scot-free after making them before. You may have hurt every person you've said something to, but they didn't show it because they knew you were a thick bastard who wouldn't understand the pain they felt.

It's not even that. It's that some jokes only work with people who know you. Because we don't know you, for you to say something like that isn't going to sit well with a lot of people (here, this is compounded by the difficulty of catching a person's tone/intent via text alone). This is kind of a basic aspect of dealing with other people: They are sensitive about different things, and maybe they've experienced things that you haven't that make them feel that way (yes, even if they aren't a minority). To you and your friends, your comment may be hilarious, but maybe it would be a good idea to keep that sort of thing to just those people. I won't say whether I think it was funny or in poor taste because you clearly won't care, but I'm just saying that when you're in public it's usually a good idea to think about what you're saying.
Oh, and don't bother to respond to this because you're already taking up half the thread, and that just sucks all kind of ways.
