Hello!
This movie finally had its premiere over here in Germany and it totally rocks. They added a lot more screaming and beer, deleted the soundtrack and added nice "umpa umpa" music! Drifting makes me supa-horny! I will now go drifting in my hot ride.

Wow, that took a while for the movie to release over there.  It's been out in the states for a while now.
Fast and Furious is suppose to come out next year in the states, so you guys probably won't get it until like 2011! lol

nice ride Thomas there is a new fast and furious?

#5 Posted by tec3297 (1170 posts) -

Yeah it is just called "Fast and Furious" and they are brining back all of the people from the first movie for it.

I recently rented Tokyo Drift just because Jeff talks so much about it.  Jeff Gerstmann owes me $3.

No way man, it's such a good film. Paul Walker's films look very poor in comparison.

Now I know Jeff cannot wait for this....      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1013752/

I personally liked Tokyo Drift as much as the first movie, but I really did not like the second movie.

I suppose the Paul Walker films could be terrible (I've never seen them), but I have a hard time picturing and actor more terrible than the lead in Tokyo Drift.

I bought the whole collection for $20.00 bucks at Target. Best purchase ever!

I want to see Tokyo Drift sometime just for lulz...

#13 Posted by OrcaGT (13 posts) -

Tokyo Drift is a bad movie. It's so bad that it's good. I hear they're making another one... but I think that won't be as "good" as Tokyo Drift haha.

Funny this topic has been made, I just re-watched it yesterday. I love that film.

#15 Posted by Firefly (25 posts) -

The next Fast and Furious has to star Stephen or William Baldwin!!! We don't need no Vin DIesel....we need shitty actors and drifty cars like mine up top!

I like the Fast and the Furious movies. They may suck but they're fun to watch.

that sums it up pretty well, even when sometimes they seem to be over the top and stupid.

Tokyo Drift is my favorite of the series, I love the crazy style and ridiculous dialogue.

#19 Posted by General (54 posts) -

Wow, that movie is really old, I'm waiting on FatF 4.

#20 Posted by Couse (68 posts) -

No, you owe jeff $3.

I just saw the first one again in HD. :O It was awesome
Now just for Tokyo Drift

My only negative comment about the movie is that DOnkey Kong loses, see what i did there, ya, clever.

the damn film is awesomeness

The Fast and the Furious movies suck.

I liked Tokyo Drift, the car parts were a bit OTT but I love any movies or games with a Rags to Riches story

Nice car!

I think.

I love the Fast and Furious movies. Tokyo Drift is my favorite thus far because the cars actually have to turn (left and right omgz!) and the races aren't limited to stupid drag events. They clearly did their homework for that movie as they gave the Drift King a cameo appearance.

Hopefully they can work in some Korean style into the upcoming F&F movie

I never liked the F&F movies.

I own all three movies on DVD and HD-DVD.

Woah, it JUST came out in Germany? like.... on DVD??? I just saw it last week; pretty fantastic. It made me want to drive cars. Then I remembered that cars kill the ice caps.

No....not really. But my imaginary german version would be fun. Just wanted to be the first to post anything about Tokyo Drift. My evil plan is to lure Rich Gallup out of hiding, because I believe he hated that movie a looooooooooooot.

One of the worst movies I've seen.

I just got back from visiting Berlin.
Germany is so amazing, I would live their but Europe gets totally boned when it comes to anything video game related.

#38 Posted by Kevin (369 posts) -

Why does Jeff love this film so much? Is there an inside joke I'm missing here? Donkey Kong?

Yeah Berlin totally kicks ass! What a great city.
You're right about the gaming situation over here...we are screwed sideways when it comes down to getting any games involved with shooting people or even getting updates for your imported games over LIVE. You can only download the german versions of all updates for Oblivion for example. So I had to buy Shivering Isles over in Birmingham....what a drag!
#40 Posted by AndyWilliams24 (708 posts) -

Love it, totally awesome.

#41 Posted by AndrewW (144 posts) -

Hey Jeff...how's the HD-DVD copy going? *wink*

#42 Posted by error11 (79 posts) -

Germany is really late.

#43 Posted by Karmum (11519 posts) -

Didn't really like Toyko Drift, but I'm somewhat interested in the new F&F movie coming out next year.

#44 Posted by Firefly (25 posts) -

Can you get this on BluRay? Is there some kind of special edition with super exclusive shiznit? Maybe a sticker or even a cup?
