Hello one and all!

After a year-long hiatus for this post, I'm now bringing back the hottest of hot jams and sickest of sick flows. Come on down and check out the ~~Whiskey Media~~ CBS Interactive family of turntable.fm rooms!

Remember to take a look at the room info to see if we have a particular vibe/genre on the go (just ask the room if unsure).

Got any thoughts on stuff we can do differently? Sets dedicated to particular genres or artists, various games and honour rules that we can use to make things more interesting? Let us know what you'd like to see!

It's now super easy to get into turntable from outside of the United States of America, have a look at this:

Step 0: Even Matt Braga said it was okay to use this nifty peice of free software!

Step 1: Go to the Tunnelbear site and download the client (available for PC or Mac)

Step 2: Go through the Tunnelbear installation and registration process

Step 3: Check your email and activate your account

Step 4: Launch Tunnelbear and turn on the VPN service

Step 5: Participate in the ‘Twitter campaign’ for an extra 1GB of monthly bandwidth (optional)

Step 6: On turntable.fm sign up/log in/get into a room

Step 7: Once in the room, shut down Tunnelbear, if you exit or refresh the page you'll need to load up Tunnelbear again to log in

Got some hip hop and heavy dance beats on rotation in the The Giant Bomb room!

I think all the press turntable.fm has been getting recently is melting their servers somewhat, keep getting glitches n ting.

Naw, I used facebook but I did not have to 'friend' someone. I only had to approve the app.

I've modified my privacy settings which I think might stop the need for captcha when you send a friend request.

Right, so now I have someone on my friends list who has turntable, and it still won't let me in. It keeps coming up with the same "Right now only friends of friends on facebook can get in. Make friends with someone on turntable or you can also add your e-mail to the invite list" message. Stupid good for nothing facebook.

@MattyFTM: I added Ana from Tested I think three days ago and didn't let me in until today. So it looks like it takes several days for it to work.

I was in the Production House last night. What a great idea! I should hope there can be different theme days in some of the rooms. DJ tunes are fine and good, but other songs are nice too.

@JJWeatherman: When turntable decides to recognize that someone in my friends list has turntable, I'll be right in there. Blame turntable and/or facebook.

Mine took a couple of hours to go through, the person who gave you the invite also has to log out of turntable. I already have, if that applies to any of you. Other than that, turntable is probably getting hammered right now and is thus slow in updating that shit.

Do you know if you can delete whoever brought you in, in the first place once you've been accepted? No offense, but I only accept close friends/family on my facebook, if not it'll probably be fine.
