The new MySpace - Off-Topic

So I got my invite to the new MySpace yesterday (new.MySpace.com) and I have to say the overhaul looks pretty cool. Though I still think it's targeted to a high school demographic with all the music playing, flashy profile stuff. They made it look more professional, but as far as I can tell it's the same. I figure it's worth trying out, but like Google+ I doubt I'll use it for more than a week or two.

Anyone else on the new site yet? Have any suggestions of who to follow? I have a few invites if anyone is interested just send me an e-mail address and I'll shoot one out to you (I only have 4 invites at the moment).

I was really impressed by the demo video, but I'm still waiting for my invite. I don't know if I'll use it that much because social networks are only as good as the number of people there, and almost all of my friends only use Facebook.

People still use Myspace? I thought it revolved in to a promotional site for bands to show off their songs.

From the preview video I can say it's looking pretty fancy. I wouldn't mind getting an invite to see what it's like. I'll shoot ya a pm.

When it comes to these social sites, its not so much persuading me that matters, its persuading everyone I know.

I didn't actually sign up for Facebook until I got out of High School, so I never had a Myspace. I thought everyone had pretty much abandoned it.
